On Thursday, my classmates and I went to the Science Centre which was organised by the Hokkien Huay Kuan only for Bicep students to learn more about the history of China. At the main entrance , I saw many other pupils from different schools. After the attendants checked our tickets, we went in. Our teachers allow us to wander about in the Science Centre for a while before we went in to the gallery. As I walked around, I saw many things like the Einstein crawling up and diwn the rope, cute little animals like chicks and chickens and also tiny insects like the cockroaches and butterflies. Soon, we gathered and our teachers led us to the China gallery. We were given a card at the entrance before we went in. The card shows us the map of the whole gallery. There were altogether eleven stations we needed to complete. At each station, there will be a chop, we were supposed to find the appropriate chops and chop it on our card. If we chopped for all eleven stations, we would be given a little gift, that is, a badge. We were led by an attendant called Mr Tan. The few stations that attracted my attention were paper making, where we got to see a master making paper. The next station that attracted my attention was weaving. Many people used to sew many nice and beautiful things in the past. Lastly, I like the printing station. This station tells that in the past, the people in China still did not have ink, so they put the paper on the particular word that they wanted, and they used a stone to hit the paper. I find this trip to the Science Centre quite interesting although I find it boring in some of the stations. If there is a chance, I would want to go to the Science Centre again.
